Ally Baba was previously a corporate professional with more than 17 years of experience across various industries. He first encountered the Handpan in 2009, which motivated him to reconnect with his musical roots. After a decade of searching, he finally acquired his first Handpan in 2018, and since then, he has been delving into music and the essence of Sound/Naad. Over time, he became the first Indian Handpan artist to release an album featuring only Handpan music. In addition to the Handpan, he enjoys playing instruments like the Didgeridoo, Native American Flute, Morsing, and several others. Recognizing the lack of Handpan instructors, he established the Om Sai Handpan Institute with the aim of linking more Souls with Sound. Baba also conducts a distinctive sound meditation and therapy workshop. He is convinced that sound can heal various afflictions, which drives his desire to uncover the complete potential of sound and music and share it with the world for everyone to experience
