JAAHUNGHAAM doesn’t really come from a musical family, although his father was regarded as a good singer by those kin who knew him, he wasn’t a singer by profession, let alone trained. His mom, Mrs Phamnya Wangsa is a music lover and so is his two younger sisters namely Nissai Wangsa and Chuzet Wangsa. They are all people who enjoys music like any normal people. So, JAAHUNGHAAM, somehow managed to get his head into music a Lil more then all his family members. JAAHUNGHAAM always has a good ear for music. He’d know when something is wrong even when he was not into music.

JAAHUNGHAAM’s had performed in many church stages, but his first ever gig, where he actually got paid was in the year, 2014 in a small town called ‘Kanubari’. Where he got into a small-time local band called ‘Epic Genesis’ as a drummer. He was still a teenager back then.

JAAHUNGHAAM went on to pursue his music to equipped himself with more theoretical knowledge in Nagaland while also pursuing his educational bachelor degree in Sakus Mission Collage. He learnt his basic Classical Guitar under his then teacher Mr. Deuel khual (One of the most recpected classical guitarist in Nagaland back then) JAAHUNGHAAM never really appaired the classical guitar exam due to his financial situation back then. But it’d be safe to say that his classical guitar knowledge is roughly about grade 5. JAAHUNGHAAM then went on to pursue other parts of musical education. He got his bachelor and master degree in Hindustani classical vocal from Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh.
